Nalbandian defeats Murray in Paris Master Series
David Nalbandian, 8th seed and defending champion, upset Andy Murray, 4th seed, 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 in the Paris Masters quarter-finals.
Murray was in great form and was the favorite in this match but Nalbandian seems to play better during these weeks of the season and like in 2007 is showing great tennis.
After a break of serve apiece during the first set, Nalbandian dominated the tie-break and took it with a sweeping forehand pass.
In the second set Nalbandian took the lead breaking Murray early but the Briton was able to get the break back. The Argentine, who was in great form, broke Andy in other 3 opportunities to take the match.
